The yearend meeting of the Groveland Town Board was held on Monday December 29, 2008 at the Town Hall.

Present: James C. Merrick, Supervisor; Burt Lyon, Kevin Niedermaier, Bill Carman, Craig Phelps, Councilman

Absent: Greg Adamson, Highway Superintendent

Other Attendees: None

 Supervisor called the meeting to order @ 7:31 p.m.

Motion by Carman, seconded by Niedermaier the audited bills be paid. General Fund vouchers numbered 363-375 for $3,522.47, Light District voucher number 13 for $667, Highway Fund vouchers numbered 295-300 for $1,574.53. Motion carried unanimously.

Motion by Phelps, seconded by Lyon to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on December 11, 2008 with a correction to the communications by Lyon should state: we should have plans for capital improvements on the books so that we are prepared to take advantage of an expected Federal Stimulus plan early in 2009. Motion carried unanimously.

Supervisor passed around a sheet of recommended line item transfers to balance the budget. General Fund transfer for a total of $23,615 and Highway Fund Transfer for a total of $35,992 (See attached list for specific line amounts)

 Motion by Lyon, seconded by Phelps to accept the list as presented. Motion carried unanimously.

The organizational meeting will be Monday January 5, 2009.

Motion by Carman, seconded by Phelps to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
